Alcorn State OL Franklin Smith: veteran lineman with little public stat noise, but clear experience value
Franklin Smith is a seasoned Alcorn State offensive lineman with long-term roster continuity and the kind of trench experience coaches love, even if the box score stays quiet in 2026. His profile shows a durable, workmanlike blocker rather than a flashy stat producer, which is exactly what you want from an OL: stability, size, and assignment discipline. The main appeal is reliability—he’s the type who can help set protection and tone up front. For a team needing mature, low-drama line depth, he looks like a sensible fit.
