A versatile, experienced secondary piece with proven starting chops
Kevin Anderson’s profile points to a steady, assignment-sound defensive back who can help a roster with maturity and positional flexibility. In his 2021 season at Texas State, he appeared in 11 of 12 games, made 2 starts, and finished with 9 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and a pass breakup—numbers that suggest a player who can contribute without needing the ball to find him. The appeal is his experience, versatility in the back end, and willingness to do the dirty work; the question for Tennessee State is how quickly that translate-and-compete skill set shows up in a new environment.
