Chase Speicher brings proven depth and ball-hawking pedigree to Elon’s secondary
In the 2023 season, Elon DB Chase Speicher appeared in 8 games and logged 2 tackles; his earlier resume is the real selling point, with a freshman-year stretch that included 5 tackles across 12 games in 2022 and a prep profile built on turnovers, pass breakups, and a defensive touchdown. At 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, he fits the mold of a long, versatile defensive back who can compete physically and has already shown he can carve out snaps. He looks like a smart fit for a team needing reliable, experienced depth rather than a flashy headline grabber.
