Norfolk State’s young RB is still an emerging name
Sean Somlar is a freshman running back at Norfolk State in the 2026 season, but publicly available stat-tracking is still thin, which usually means he’s more of a developing piece than a finished product. The value here is upside: as a young back, he’s worth watching for burst, toughness, and how quickly he earns touches in a Norfolk State backfield that can reward physical runners. If your team wants immediate, proven production, there isn’t enough verified public evidence yet; if you want a developmental back with room to grow, Somlar is the kind of player who can become interesting fast.
