Darnell Parker Jr. brings steady infield value, but his 2026 bat is still searching for traction
Parker profiles as a right-handed infielder with a strong defensive résumé and real athletic tools: Campbell credited him with 116 assists, 72 putouts and 26 double plays in the field, while scouting notes praise quick first-step actions, controlled footwork and a short, quick arm path. Offensively, his 2025 production was solid at .262 with 8 homers and 41 RBI, but his 2026 line has dipped to .149 with 1 homer and 11 RBI, so the fit is best for a team that values glove-first stability, middle-infield/third-base versatility, and upside if the bat rebounds.
