Cadence Turnbow brings freshman energy and two-way flashes for Western New Mexico
Cadence Turnbow, a 5'8" freshman guard from Deming, NM, has already shown a little spark for Western New Mexico in the 2025-26 season, averaging 5.0 points in 2 games while shooting 100% from the field and 100% from three on very limited attempts. Her best calling card looks like guard activity: she posted 6 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in a road game at UTEP, hinting at some pesky, hustle-driven two-way upside. She looks like a developmental fit for a team that values energy, versatility, and local talent with room to grow.
