Explosive, Multipurpose FAU Back with Big-Play Juice
Johnny Ford is a compact, change-of-pace RB whose value comes from burst, versatility, and playmaking in space: at FAU he has been used as a runner, receiver, and returner, giving him real all-purpose utility, and his listed profile has long emphasized his speed and low-center-of-gravity style. He is the kind of back who can punish defenses on designed touches and add hidden yardage on special teams, but his smaller frame means he fits best in a scheme that creates lanes and leverages quickness over pure between-the-tackles volume.
