Efficient, low-usage forward with a sharp shooting touch
In the 2025-26 season, Jelani Mofford is posting 1.1 points, 0.1 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game while shooting 55.6% from the field for UNCG[5][12]. His calling card is efficiency and a clean offensive fit: historical UNCG bio notes he hit 2-of-4 from three in limited action back in college, and earlier scouting described him as a knock-down shooter, willing defender and underrated rebounder[1][2]. If a roster needs a steady, low-drama wing/forward who can space the floor and compete defensively, he’s a sensible depth piece rather than a headline-grabber[1][2][9].
