DJ Dean brings veteran back-end leadership to Arkansas
DJ Dean’s value at Arkansas has been his steadiness and communication on the back end, with past seasons showing he can be a disruptive, versatile DB who contributes in coverage, run support, and special teams. In the 2015 season, Arkansas notes credited him with 58 tackles and called him the communicator on the defense, which hints at a player coaches trust to line people up and keep the secondary organized. He’s the kind of fit you want if you need experience, toughness, and an on-field voice more than flash.
