Butler DL Nathan Lugo: low-volume production, but a high-effort depth piece
Nathan Lugo’s Butler profile shows a 6-foot-2, 240-pound defensive lineman who made one tackle in the 2021 spring season and has been used as a developmental piece rather than a stat-stuffing starter. His differentiators are size, positional flexibility, and roster value: Butler listed him as both a freshman recruit and later a sophomore on the defensive line, suggesting a player trusted to work in the rotation and develop physically. He looks like a fit for a team that wants toughness, depth, and upside more than instant headline numbers.
