Ty Neil gives Samford a reliable special-teams edge
Ty Neil is a **kicker/punter** whose value is built on consistency, field-position control and special-teams reliability rather than flash. Publicly available results on him are limited, but Samford has previously recognized him for standout special-teams play, which suggests he has been trusted in high-leverage kicking roles. For a team, that makes him a fit if you want a steady specialist who can help flip field position, handle pressure, and quietly raise the floor of the unit.[3]
