rangy Boston College cover man with proven ball skills
DeLeon Gause has the profile of a disruptive Boston College cornerback: in the 2010 season, he started seven games, posted 27 tackles, three pass breakups, an interception, 2.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss before a knee injury cut things short. His best calling cards are versatility, edge in run support, and the knack for making plays behind the line, which makes him more than just a stay-in-the-slot cover guy. If your team wants toughness, playmaking, and a defender who flashes intensity, Gause fits the bill.
