Christian Nilsen brings size, local pedigree, and a promising bat-first profile to Quinnipiac
Christian Nilsen is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound sophomore first baseman from Easton, Conn., with a strong local background and a clear developmental arc at Quinnipiac. In the 2026 season, he has limited Division I production so far, but his profile stands out for physical upside and versatility after appearing as both a hitter and pitcher in 2025. He’s the kind of player worth watching because the frame, hometown pedigree, and twin-brother storyline suggest upside beyond the box score; if your team values long-term growth and a coachable, high-ceiling corner bat, he’s an interesting fit.
