Jasmine Speed brings rebounding, efficiency and defensive activity for Maryland Eastern Shore
Jasmine Speed profiles as a dependable frontcourt piece whose value goes beyond scoring: in the 2006-07 season, she started 22 of 31 games, averaged 4.8 points and 5.7 rebounds, shot 43% from the field, and posted a career-best 5 steals in a game, showing a mix of hustle, board work and defensive instincts. Her 15-point, 12-rebound performance vs. North Carolina A&T suggests she can impact a game when fed touches. She looks like a fit for a team needing energy, physicality and efficient interior play.
