Austin Stevenson brings Columbia a compact, hard-nosed backfield option
Austin Stevenson is listed by Columbia as a solidly built fullback who can also play tailback, and the key trait that jumps off the page is strength rather than flash. Columbia’s roster notes describe him as very strong, while ESPN’s player bio shows limited career production: in the season listed there, he logged 6 carries for 24 yards. That profile suggests a physical, role-specific player who can help in short-yardage, lead-blocking, and toughness-driven situations. If you want a grinder who fits a blue-collar offense, he’s a useful piece; if you need explosive volume, he’s not that guy.
