Southern’s kicker with proven clutch pedigree
Martell Fontenot has real game-day credibility at Southern, with past evidence of delivering under pressure as a placekicker and converting key PATs/field goals in big moments in the 2018 season. The catch: there isn’t enough current public stat detail here to judge his 2026 form, so the best read is that he’s valued for composure, reliability, and special-teams steadiness rather than flash. If your team wants a calm, situationally trustworthy kicker, Fontenot’s profile fits that mold; if you need a heavily documented current stat leader, the public trail is thin.
