Big guard, limited production so far for New Orleans
Melvin is a **6'5" guard** for New Orleans whose profile is built more on size and backcourt versatility than on box-score volume, as ESPN lists him at **1.2 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game in 10 games** this season. [1][2] That makes him an intriguing developmental fit if your team wants a bigger guard who can potentially handle multiple roles, but the current statistical output suggests he is still working to translate tools into consistent impact.
