steady Montana State guard with a grinder’s edge
James Hennessy profiles as a physical, low-drama backcourt piece for Montana State, known more for toughness, work rate, and doing the dirty work than for headline-grabbing scoring. In his college seasons, his production was modest but useful—career marks include 2.3 points, 1.5 assists, and 1.3 rebounds per game, with defensive activity showing up in steals and all-around effort. He was described by Montana State as a multi-sport star who “pushes you to work hard,” which fits the blue-collar, dependable vibe teams can plug into a rotation.
