UAB FB with Elite Tackling Roots and High-Intensity Drive
Santonio Jones, UAB’s Fullback, stands out not for flashy stats but for his relentless intensity and foundational tackling prowess—led his high school team in tackles with 68 stops (45 solo) as a sophomore in 2010, a trait that fuels his on-field grit. Though his 2024 UAB season stats show minimal production (1 carry, 1 yard), his differentiator is raw intensity and a personality that never quits, making him a high-fit for teams needing a tough, battle-ready FB. No major injury history reported; his value lies in heart, not numbers.
