Martin Frierson brings a veteran Georgia Tech secondary pedigree
Martin Frierson is best known as an experienced Georgia Tech defensive back who has shown versatility and football IQ rather than flashy volume production; in his Georgia Tech career, he also logged offensive snaps earlier in his career, which hints at athletic flexibility and a team-first skill set. The best fit for him is a scheme that values reliability, toughness, and adaptability in the back end more than raw size-speed measurables—think grinder, not headline chaser.
