Zeke Chapman brings veteran inside-line grit to South Alabama
In the 2022 season, Zeke Chapman was a rotational defensive lineman for South Alabama who logged 4 total tackles, including 1 tackle for loss, after arriving as a junior-college transfer and former top-20 JUCO defensive tackle prospect. He’s a 6-foot-2, 305-pound interior body with proven mass, experience, and a straightforward power profile that fits teams needing a sturdy run defender who can absorb blocks and keep the front honest. The upside is more about dependable trench work than flashy production, but his veteran background and physical style make him a useful fit for a depth or gap-control role.
