Physical, high-motor frontcourt contributor for Ole Miss
In the 2014-15 season at Ole Miss, M.J. Rhett was a rugged 6-foot-9 forward who played in all 34 games with 31 starts, averaging 7.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.5 blocks in 22.2 minutes per game. His value came from effort and toughness more than flash: a strong frame, active rebounding, and reliable frontcourt minutes. He fits teams that want a physical, low-maintenance big who competes, screens, and does the dirty work.
