a defense-minded, high-motor forward with JUCO pedigree and real physicality
Nwankwo is a tough, active forward who first earned notice at Cowley, where he was the 2023-24 KJCCC Player of the Year and a NJCAA Division I First Team All-American after averaging 18.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals. At Oklahoma in 2025-26, his role was much smaller—about 2.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in roughly 11-15 minutes per game—but the film-and-stats combo still points to a versatile, disruptive rebounder who can defend, compete, and play with edge. He looks like a fit if your team wants energy, toughness, and effort over pure shot creation.
