Crafty, experienced forward who brings grit and floor sense to Elon
Anna Popovic is a veteran Elon forward whose best value comes from basketball IQ, positioning, and steady effort rather than gaudy box-score volume. In the 2017-18 season, she played 32 of 33 games, started 16, and averaged 1.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in 12.3 minutes, with a standout 12-point game against Towson and a team-best 8 rebounds vs. Hampton. She looks like a low-drama, high-discipline fit who can defend, rebound, and make the extra play—useful glue for a team that wants reliability and toughness.
