Anthony Campbell brings veteran linebacker energy, but the Holy Cross fit is unclear
Anthony Campbell’s publicly available football trail points to a steady, experienced defender with a history of contributing on special teams and in rotational linebacker roles, including 24 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks in his 2008 Holy Cross season. Recent roster and stat listings do not clearly show him as an active 2026 Holy Cross linebacker, so the biggest differentiator here is veteran feel rather than headline production. If a team wants a tough, assignment-sound, low-drama linebacker who has lived in the trenches, there’s appeal; if it wants a proven current impact starter, the available record doesn’t show that clearly.
