Mike Ruane brings veteran linebacker grit to Villanova
A seasoned Villanova linebacker, Mike Ruane’s most visible differentiator is experience: he was a steady contributor in 2019, when he played in all 12 games and posted 66 tackles with two fumble recoveries, showing he can find the ball and finish plays. He profiles as a physical, assignment-sound defender who adds veteran stability and toughness to a unit that values speed and instincts. If your team wants an older, reliable linebacker who plays with edge and understands the game, Ruane is the kind of plug-in piece coaches trust.
