Ber'Nyah Mayo is the steady two-way engine in St. John’s backcourt
In the 2024-25 season, Ber'Nyah Mayo gave St. John’s reliable veteran guard play, averaging 11.2 points, 3.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 30.9 minutes per game while starting all 31 games.[1][11] Her calling cards are pace control, playmaking and defensive pressure—she led the team in assists in 19 games and ranked among the BIG EAST’s better free-throw shooters at 80.5%.[1] She also brings leadership value as a team captain and preseason all-conference selection, the kind of composed, competitive guard who fits well if a team wants a floor general with bite.[1][8]
