Joe Zoppi brought automatic-touchdown energy to CCSU’s kicking game
In the 2021 season, Joe Zoppi showed real special-teams value for Central Connecticut State, finishing with 10 field goals on 16 attempts, a 62.5% mark, and 26 extra points in 27 tries, while also earning NEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors that November[9][6]. He looks like a dependable college kicker with range that reached 42 yards in game action and the poise to handle scoring pressure, though the field-goal accuracy suggests room to tighten consistency[2][3][9]. If your team wants a kicker with proven game experience and steady extra-point reliability, he’s worth a look[6][9].
