Elite Guard with 440 Career Assists and 17.5 PPG Scoring Surge
Gioconda Mendiola, the Washington Huskies' standout guard, enters her senior season as the team's leader in scoring (17.5 PPG), rebounding (6.5 RPG), and assists (5.4 APG), ranking second all-time with 440 career assists [4]. Her differentiators include explosive three-point shooting (6-for-9 in a 22-point game) [5], elite free-throw accuracy (15-of-17 in one contest) [6], and a relentless intensity that fueled a 40-point single-game record [8]. Beyond stats, Mendiola's personality blends competitive fire with clutch reliability, having never missed a major game due to injury and consistently elevating teammates' performance. She is a perfect fit for any team needing a versatile, high-intensity guard who can score, distribute, and defend at a Pac-10 elite level.
