Loyola Chicago adds a polished, multi-award outfielder in Mackenzie Patterson
Patterson arrives as a high-floor outfielder who brings winning pedigree, defensive reliability, and steady production rather than flash: she was a four-year letterwinner, two-time Illinois Class 4A state champion, unanimous All-Conference and Second Team All-State selection in 2024, and a three-year Academic All-Conference honoree. Her profile suggests a player who competes hard, makes routine plays, and fits a program that values consistency, leadership, and postseason experience.
