Montana’s Walk-On Kicker with NFL-Driven Intensity and UFL Tryout Grit
Adam Botkin, a walk-on place kicker for the Montana Grizzlies, stands out not just for his technical precision but for his relentless, NFL-caliber intensity and personal resilience. Enrolled at UM since 2018 and a former practice player, Botkin’s journey includes a UFL tryout and viral content like his "Why I’m Not In The NFL" story, revealing a personality defined by grit, self-awareness, and a hunger to prove himself. Unlike many kickers who rely solely on stats, Botkin brings a unique differentiator: he trains with elite college kickers (including from Michigan), works out specifically for NFL teams in 30-day cycles, and maintains a massive social following (536K on Instagram) that reflects his authenticity and fan engagement. His differentiator is his mindset—he’s not just a kicker; he’s a storyteller who turns setbacks into fuel. For teams seeking a kicker with high intensity, coachability, and a proven ability to thrive under pressure, Botkin is a compelling fit. He’s not defined by a single season’s stats but by a career of relentless preparation and a clear drive to reach the next level.
