Eastern Illinois DB with Rising Ball-Hawking Pedigree
A.J. Woodson, Eastern Illinois Panthers' defensive back, stands out with his high school roots at Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA) and FCS tenacity, blending lockdown coverage skills with elite ball production—watch for his instincts in intercepting passes during the 2025 season. His athleticism and football IQ make him a differentiator in zone schemes, showing no major injury flags and a gritty, coachable personality ideal for Power 5 depth or developmental programs. A sleeper transfer candidate if Panthers underperform.
