a Houston WR name from the archives, not a current Cougars impact player
Jeremy McCardell appears in Houston’s 1999 roster and depth chart, where he was listed as a freshman wide receiver at 6-0, 215, but there isn’t reliable current-season evidence showing him as an active 2026 Houston Cougars contributor.[1][2] In other words, he reads more like a historical roster note than a present-day fit, so there’s no verifiable recent performance profile, ranking, or injury context to judge his current value to a team.[1][2]
