Houston’s Zach Faires: special-teams glue guy with no-frills reliability
Zach Faires profiles as a classic long snapper: not the flashiest name on the board, but a specialist whose value comes from clean execution, consistency, and trust in high-leverage kicking situations. Publicly available Houston roster information confirms his Cougars connection, but there isn’t much stat-sheet noise here by design—long snappers are judged on precision, timing, and snap-to-kick reliability more than box-score production. If your team wants a steady, low-drama special-teams piece, that’s the kind of fit Faires can be.
