seasoned, physical O-lineman with a proven résumé
Kersten profiles as a tough, experienced interior lineman who brings size, consistency, and work ethic to New Mexico State. In the 2011 season, he played in 11 games at guard, logged 49 knockdowns, and allowed just one sack, while helping power an Aggie offense that ranked No. 27 nationally in passing offense and No. 47 in total offense. Coaches and evaluators praised his strength, quickness, and internal drive, which makes him the kind of plug-in blocker teams love when they want reliability over flash.
