steady UIC backcourt piece with veteran poise and glue-girl value
Kara Wilson is a seasoned UIC guard whose calling card has been versatility, ball movement, and timely effort plays—she showed in the 2018-19 season that she could contribute across the board, including a seven-point, five-assist, two-steal start against Northwestern and multiple games with assist and rebound production. The big question for any roster fit is not flash but fit: she looks like the kind of low-ego, high-IQ guard who can stabilize possessions, defend with intent, and keep an offense connected.
