Tyler Walton is growing into a sturdy, disruptive Wake Forest DL
Tyler Walton has developed from a little-used freshman into a 2025 contributor for Wake Forest, finishing that season with 16 tackles and a pass breakup after appearing in all 13 games. In the 2024 season, he logged 3 tackles across 2 games, which shows steady upward momentum rather than flashy production. At 6-foot-5 and around 260 pounds, he brings length, frame, and enough versatility to fit multiple defensive looks. His appeal is the trajectory: a high-motor, captain-type lineman with North Gwinnett toughness who looks like a dependable rotational piece with room to keep climbing.
