a steady Virginia Tech guard in the Hokies’ backcourt
Amy Lingenfelder is listed by Virginia Tech as a 5-8 guard from Fairfax, Virginia, giving the Hokies a local backcourt piece with size, ball-handling fit, and roster familiarity. The public record here is thin on recent stat production, so the best read is that she profiles as a depth-and-development guard rather than a headline-grabber; for a team, that can still matter if you need a reliable practice-ready guard who understands the program and can provide structure and continuity.
