Marques Dawson brings old-school wing versatility to Middle Tennessee
Marques Dawson has been a long, wiry, two-way forward/wing type for Middle Tennessee, with the profile of a player who can stretch the floor and defend multiple spots. The clearest differentiator in the available team scouting notes is his combination of perimeter shooting, quickness, and ability to beat defenders off the dribble, which makes him more than a static role player. In the 2005-06 season, Middle Tennessee listed him at 6'5" and 185 pounds, and the program described him as a strong defensive performer and mismatch creator. If you want a versatile, activity-heavy fit, he checks real boxes.
