Kaden Schuck gives McNeese a switch-hit spark behind the plate
Kaden Schuck, a redshirt junior catcher for McNeese in the 2026 season, has shown timely contact and run-producing pop, including key doubles and clutch RBI in conference play[1][2][4]. He looks like a grinder who can shorten up in big spots, work counts, and help turn over an inning rather than just chase loud exit velocities[2][4][7]. For a team needing a steady catcher with offensive upside and situational bat-to-ball value, Schuck fits as a competitive, flexible piece who has already shown he can impact tight games[2][4][8].
