Gavin Blunt brings versatile, high-floor receiver traits to Akron
Gavin Blunt is a 6-foot-1, 193-pound Akron wideout with multi-position high school experience and athletic testing that suggests usable burst and agility, including a 4.3 shuttle and 30.9-inch vertical on Hudl[1][2]. He was a multi-sport, five-letter athlete at Aurora HS who also played linebacker, punter, and kick returner, which points to toughness and all-around football instincts[2]. His recruiting profile was modest—247Sports ranked him No. 2,787 nationally—so the appeal is less star power and more a versatile, well-rounded fit who can help in multiple roles if developed properly[3].
