Jacob Fex brings veteran DB grit to Lamar
Jacob Fex is a Lamar defensive back with game experience and a reputation for physical, assignment-sound play; in the 2020 season, he appeared in four games and logged five tackles, including a three-tackle game against UIW. He isn’t a headline-grabber, but his value is the kind coaches love: toughness, reliability, and a willingness to do the unglamorous work in coverage and run support. For a team looking for a steady depth piece who can compete and stay engaged snap-to-snap, he looks like a solid fit.
