seasoned Texas Tech DB with starter-grade production
Dorsey brings a veteran, physical presence to Texas Tech’s secondary, and in the 2017 season he started 12 of 13 games while posting 59 tackles, 3 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 interception[1]. His edge is reliability: he earned a primary role quickly, showed up as a strong tackler from the defensive back spot, and offered splash-play upside with turnovers and breakups[1]. The big picture on him is simple—he’s the kind of DB coaches trust because he can handle volume, play with toughness, and contribute in multiple coverage situations[1].
