Tackling Machine with Proven Sun Belt Pedigree at Kansas
Lorenzo McCaskill, a gritty 6'0", 220-pound OLB, exploded in 2020 at Louisiana with 83 tackles (led team) and 2 sacks over 11 games, including a monster 14-tackle outing that earned Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week—most in FBS at the time. Now a Kansas Jayhawk, this Detroit native brings relentless intensity, double-digit tackle consistency (only Sun Belt player to do so every game early that year), and late-blooming upside as a redshirt junior. Ideal for teams needing a sideline-to-sideline heat-seeker who thrives in high-pressure stretches.
