a veteran Marshall line piece with old-school grit and versatility
Chris Bowers is listed on Marshall’s 2026 roster as a 6-2, 285-pound redshirt junior from Ona, West Virginia, and his profile shows the classic value of a walk-on who earned real snaps through grit.[1] In his Marshall career, he worked at center and even started in a bowl win when injuries hit, which tells you he can handle pressure, learn fast, and plug gaps when a lineup gets messy.[1][2] If you need a steady, tough, team-first interior OL who brings experience and flexibility more than flash, Bowers is the kind of under-the-radar fit coaches love.[1][2]
