Davon Muse brings compact, burst-first depth to Central Michigan's backfield
Muse is a 5-8, 160-pound running back prospect who profiles as a quick, low-center-of-gravity back with change-of-pace value for Central Michigan.[1][4] His recruiting profile suggests a compact frame and agility-based skill set rather than pure power, which can make him useful in space, on cutbacks, and in tempo-driven packages.[1][2] For a team, he is most intriguing as a developmental runner who could complement bigger backs if he translates his burst, balance, and acceleration to the college level.[1][4]
