old-school Memphis paint presence with proven production
Shannon Hamp’s Memphis résumé points to a rugged, inside-first center who can score in bunches and clean the glass; in the 2002 season she had a season-high 26 points in one game, and she repeatedly showed double-figure scoring ability while battling in the paint. She’s the type of post player who brings physicality, offensive rebounding, and reliable interior touches rather than flashy perimeter volume. If a team wants a low-maintenance, high-effort big who sets the tone physically, Hamp fits that mold nicely.
