Dakota Carter brings veteran speed and timely chaos to Nebraska’s outfield mix
Dakota Carter is a senior outfielder for Nebraska in the 2026 season whose biggest value is speed and base-running impact: she has appeared in 10 games, scored runs, and swiped bases, including a steal that helped spark Nebraska’s win over No. 1 Texas Tech. Her stat line won’t jump off the page, but her role is clear—she’s a disruptive, high-energy runner who can change innings with one sprint. If you want a depth piece with grit, quickness, and postseason-tested competitiveness, she fits the vibe.
