Experienced Northwestern State DL with little public stat trail
Destry Hesskew is listed on Northwestern State’s 2026 football roster as a defensive lineman, but the program’s roster page shows no current-season or career statistics, so his value is better evaluated through role, size, and development than box-score production.[1] The clearest takeaway is that he has earned a roster spot in a program that has historically used converted and developmental front-seven players, which suggests his appeal is in depth, practice competitiveness, and schematic fit rather than headline-grabbing numbers.[1][3] If you need a low-profile DL who may be more of a project or depth piece than an instant stat-sheet star, he is worth monitoring.[1]
