Kourtney Kekec brings veteran forward savvy and board work to UTSA
Kekec is a seasoned UTSA forward whose value has always come from toughness, rebounding, and doing a little bit of everything; in the 2018-19 season she averaged 8.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game at Mineral Area College before joining UTSA, and her UTSA track record shows she can contribute as a versatile, high-IQ piece rather than a volume scorer. She fits best with a team that wants physicality, experience, and a steady glue player who understands spacing and team defense, even if her shot-making has been streaky at times.
